Protection against ischaemia-reperfusion injury after revascularisation in acute myocardial infarction remains an enigma. Finally, the authors examine the pitfalls and challenges in trial design for future investigation of cardioprotective strategies. Malignant mesothelioma (MM) is a rare aggressive cancer primary located in pleura and lung. MMs can be divided into biphasic, epithelioid and sarcomatoid subtypes.
