Laparoscopic hepatectomy in the posterosuperior hepatic region is technically challenging and demanding. However, minimally invasive procedures carried out using the Da Vinci robot provide potential advantages in complex hepatectomy. This study reported the experience of a single center on robotic hepatectomy in the posterosuperior hepatic region. This retrospective study evaluated the general characteristics and perioperative outcomes of consecutive patients who underwent robotic hepatectomy in the posterosuperior hepatic region at our center from March 2015 to January 2020. For 100 patients who were included into this study, 53 underwent anatomical segmentectomy or subsegmentectomy and 47 non-anatomical partial hepatectomy. There was no conversion to laparotomy. The R0 resection rate was 100%. The following perioperative outcomes were compared between patients who underwent anatomical segmentectomy/subsegmentectomy versus those who underwent non-anatomical partial hepatectomy operation times of 160 versus 126min, intraoperative blood losses of 100 versus 50ml, intraoperative blood transfusion rates of 7.54% versus 4.26%, postoperative lengths of hospital stay of 5 versus 4days, Clavien-Dindo Grade I-II complications rates of 15.09% versus 19.15%, Grade III-V complications rates of 3.77% versus 0%, bile leakage rates of 4% versus 7% and pleural effusion rates of also 4% versus 7%, respectively. The results indicated the safety and feasibility of robotic anatomical and non-anatomical liver resections in the posterosuperior hepatic region. The structures of both compounds were determined based on 1D and 2D NMR and mass spectral data, as well as by x-ray diffraction analysis for 1. Compounds 1 and 2 were screened against eight receptor- (RTKs) and eight non-receptor tyrosine kinases (nRTKs). Both compounds showed strong inhibitory properties against Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (nRTK) with their kinase activity were 19% and 20%, respectively. In this regard, we sought to compare two hydrophilic model nanocarriers to deliver the optimal dose of cystamine (Cys) into the in vitro matured oocyte and the first cleavage stages until morula-compact stage embryonic cells. The formation of Cys-loaded solid self-emulsifying lipid (Cys + SLN) and Cys-loaded chitosan shell (Cys-CS-NC) were confirmed by FT-IR and UV-Vis spectrophotometry, dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technologies. In two experiments, the oocytes/presumptive zygotes were cultured under various concentrations of Cys-SLN and Cys-CS-NC. The results of nuclear staining (aceto-orcein and Hoechst 33342), H2DCFDA fluorescent staining, chemiluminescence test, and quantitative reverse transcription-PCR (qRT-PCR) technique as in vitro toxicity studies demonstrated that adding the lowest dose of Cys-encapsulated in both nanocarriers [Cys-SLN (5 μM) and Cys-CS-NC (10 μM)] to maturation or culture medium could accumulate a strong anti-oxidative effect in oocyte/embryo by controlled release and enhanced intracellular penetration of Cys. In comparison, Cys-SLN (5 μM) is more effective than Cys-CS-NC (10 μM) groups to improve the expression of antioxidant genes (SOD, CAT, GPx) or anti-apoptotic (BCL-2) gene and decreased apoptosis (BAX and caspase-3) or intra-/extracellular ROS levels. In a nutshell, both nanocarriers (CS-NC or SLN) can deliver the lowest dose of Cys into the oocyte/embryo, thus encouraging a better expansion of antioxidant genes and enhancing the development of in vitro oocyte/embryo.Drinking water sludge (DWS) contains organic carbon and metal ions with the potential to prepare adsorbents. In this research, DWS was separated into two parts by acid leaching, i.e., an acid leaching carbonization sludge (ALCS) and an acid leaching solution. VY3135 Iron and aluminum were extracted from the acid leaching solution and loaded onto ALCS by sedimentation and liquid-phase reduction to prepare a carbon/Al2O3/nZVI magnetic adsorption material (ALCS-Al-Fe). The optimum arsenic removal conditions, adsorption kinetics, and isotherm were determined, and the characteristics of the adsorbent ALCS-Al-Fe were investigated. The results showed that the composite exerted a favorable arsenic removal effect due to the electrostatic adsorption of nanometer zero-valent iron as well as ion exchange and complexation between the OH- groups on the surface of ALCS-Al-Fe and As(V). The pH change had a slight effect on the adsorption capacity, while the common anions SO42- and SiO32- showed obvious inhibitory effects. Considering that alkalinity is beneficial to arsenic ion desorption, NaOH was used in desorbing to conduct 6 cycles of regeneration experiments, and the final removal rate could still reach 90.5%. Therefore, the concept of green development of preparing magnetic adsorbents by using whole component of DWS is significant to the exploitation of sludge recycling.The aim of this paper is to improve trend analysis for non-stationary Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) time series (TS) over different areas in Tunisia based on the wavelet transform (WT) multi-resolution analysis (MRA-WT), statistical test, and meteorological data. The MRA-WT was applied in order to decompose the TS into different components. However, the most challenge for TS analysis using MRA-WT laid in the selection of two optimum parameters the level of decomposition and mother wavelet (MW). In this work, both factors were investigated. Firstly, the level of decomposition was calculated for 18 different MWs, and secondly the energy to Shannon entropy ratio criterion was investigated to choose the most suitable MW. The Mann-Kendall test (MK) and Sen's slope were applied to the last approximation component in order to analyze long-term vegetation changes. Finally, the influence of meteorological data for trend was analyzed. The results were first computed for different sites in Tunisia using MODIS NDVI TS from 2001 to 2017.
